Colombian Stars at Palumbo Field

Rene Higuita and El Pibe
Via and The Roosters could hardly believe their collective eyes when our frantic calls for “guest players” were answered by this pair of old time Colombian superstars. Rene Higuita and El Pibe showed up at Palumbo field last Tuesday and warmed up with the Via squad, until the BoD ejected them for not following the “guest player” rules. Regardless, El Pibe smiled broadly, signed autographs while Higuita performed his signature “scorpion” kick before he was hauled off to a Colombian jail.
