Ben Surgery Update

Hey everybody, Ben here.  Surgery was on Tuesday, about 1:00.  They ended up taking out the one broken orbital bone under the eye and putting in a titaniam-reinforced plastic piece in its place.  The surgeon thought it went really well.

 I was in a good bit of pain afterwards, but at least they gave me the good Oxycodone dope, so that helped.  Now the pain is a little better, I have not taken any today.  I have a patch oveer the eye because I have a lot of double vision, so it is really annoying to have that eye open.  I’m on steriods (not the Ricky kind) so that should help with the swelling and the double vision. 

I go to the surgeon for my post-op appointment on Friday.  I’m out of work for the rest of the week to just rest up, but I hope to be out to the Vesuvio game this weekend. 

 All good (or as good as can be).
