2007 Fall Registration is now OPEN!

Dear Players,

The start of the fall season is rapidly approaching and it is time to register for competitive team play with uniforms, sponsors, bragging rights, and all the associated glory.

To accommodate our expanding rosters and increase the quality of our playing time, the BVFC board has agreed on a few important changes this year. First of all, we are expanding to 8 teams (that’s right, 8!) and we have secured 8 playing slots (at Palumbo and Sacks field at 5th and Washington) and since the fields are smaller than regulation, we are limiting the teams to 15 per side, for 10 v 10 games (1 goal keep + 9 players). This should make our games safer and more competitive.

Another major change is that we are switching to a yearly registration format, so there will now only be a registration for the fall, that is valid from September to September. The new registration cost will be $100 for the year, which is still a bargain. So, $100 will now cover you for the fall season, through the spring and summer.

We planning to launch the season by September 11th, so hurry up and register as soon as possible. We will be closing registration in 2-3 weeks so please hurry.

If you have played with BVFC in this spring or last fall, then your information is already in our database. Go to this page to pay via paypal or notify Sarah Wenger and make arrangements to pay cash at the field.

If you did not play with us last fall, go to the registration page in the right hand column.

And if you have not noticed already, the site has a brand new look. Welcome to BVFC web 2.0. We switched to a ‘blog’ format so you can contribute and comment. This is your site so help us keep it fresh.

    You’ve done a superb job to revamp our website.

    The new site looks great! It would look even better if you deleted all the pics of Charlie. haha

    Are there still pickup games on the weekends?

    What are the time slots for games this fall- Tuesday Night and Sunday? any other additional evenings?

    Tuesday/Thursday at Sacks 6-9
    Saturday at Sacks 1-5 (tentatively)
    Sunday at Palumbo 11:30-2:00,
    Tuesday at Palumbo 8-9:30
